A few words about the .223 Remington cartridge:

Development of the cartridge:

It is the successor to the successful intermediate-power cartridge 7.62x51mm in NATO countries' service. It entered service with the US Army during the 60s and 70s with the adoption of the AR-15 rifle and its derivatives, designated as 5.56mm ball, thus similar to the 5.56x45mm cartridge. In 1977, NATO countries signed an agreement committing to use this caliber cartridge as the second official one alongside the original 7.62x51. The civilian version of this cartridge is designated .223 Remington. The cartridge case is identical, but the military one is calibrated to a higher chamber pressure. However, they are dimensionally identical.

We designed the pendant with an FMJ bullet, just like the original military cartridges.

Keychain construction and care:

The keychain's pendant is turned from brass and securely embedded in the base of the cartridge in the primer area, ensuring the pendant's waterproofness and distinguishing it from most competing products. Brass parts can be polished using a brass surface renewal.

Note: Protect the lacquered surface from chipping. Unprotected steel will rust!
