Development of the Cartridge:
The 7x64 cartridge is the result of the work of German ammunition designer Wilhelm Brenneke, who created it in 1917. Brenneke reworked the 8x64mm S cartridge and equipped it with a 7 mm casing. This cartridge became very popular and achieved great commercial success, especially in Europe.
Compared to the 7x57 mm Mauser, which was also very popular at that time, the 7x64 offers a 10 to 12% higher muzzle velocity of the bullet. This feature makes it an ideal choice for hunting medium to large game, such as deer or wild boar.
Cartridge Composition and Manufacture:
The 7x64 is also popular for its accuracy and consistency, important for hunters who need to reliably hit a target at long distances. Additionally, this cartridge is available in a wide range of different types of ammunition, allowing hunters to adapt their choice of ammunition to the specific situation or type of game. It is produced with all possible hunting bullets such as SP, SPCE, JHP, and others.

Keychain Construction and Care:
The keychain loop is lathe-turned from brass and firmly pressed into the base of the casing at the primer position, ensuring waterproofness and distinguishing it from most competing products. Brass parts can be polished with a brass surface restoration product like Sidol.
